Business Dreams
Today was another busy and successful day. It was my first day of the Spring semester. I am really happy with my classes and excited. I have Arabic 102, Introduction to World Affairs, Human Biology, Microeconomics, and Business Calculus! I am really happy because I have all the perfect classes and they interest me, last semester I had classes that I had to take but loathed--such as Philosophy and Statistics, my brain just doesn't like those subjects! I know I will learn a lot from these classes that will help me in my business ventures. What are they you might ask? (In case you haven't read all of my blog posts).
I want to manage and own my own fair trade coffee company and I also want to partner up with General Motors to produce a 100% American made luxury vehicle that's better than sex! Fine, fine....a close second!

I am still thinking of a name for my coffee company, it's between Petite Feve (Little Bean in French) or Cafecito (Little Coffee in Spanish). I will have the main office here in San Franny and I will start off production in the Southern states of Mexico, such as Veracruz, Puebla, Oaxaca, Guerrero, and I have friends and family in all those regions and land that has belonged to my family for ever! Not to mention I am fluent in Spanish and love all my people. (I'm not fluent in Arabic yet but one day!) I will pay farmers above market price per pound of coffee. Non fair trade coffee pays farmers around 60 cents per pound of coffee, while in stores, a pound can reach up to 11 U.S. dollars! I will pay them $1.60 cents per pound, the usual for fair trade coffee but I plan on providing health care and education for their kids--as I do not want child labor to occur, those kids are the future--not necessarily the United States's future but of the world! I want to let the farmers know that someone does care and doesn't want to become rich out of their suffering. If I just wanted to be rich, I would have married a rich old guy as soon as I turned 18--ewwww! Hahaha but no I want to work hard and provide for the people. Then I want to expand to the Caribbean (I love the Dominican Republic, especially!) and countries in Africa too. I want to give them happiness. I know it won't be easy and not cheap. But as a famous person (obviously forgot who) once said, "What would people do if they knew they could not fail?" I'm not going to give into peoples negativity.
Okay now about the 100% American luxury vehicle! The car will be named....guess!.....guess!!.....ahhhh....it will be named after me of course--well my last name, it's French (Algerian) (like Chevrolet!) . I even came up with a catchy slogan! "Giron...drive on!" I know cheesy but awesome...like Chrysler's "Imported From Detroit". Anyways, I want to partner up with GM and let them now what the people want, yea we have Cadillac and Lincoln (luxury brands) but they (I am sooooo sorry America) don't measure up to the German and Italian luxury cars. This car will have Billionares, CEOs, The Crown Prince of Dubai, begging for it! I want to make it sporty, yet fashionable and classy. Manufactured in Detroit aka Motor City and be mostly man assembled and every detail done step by step with perfection in mind. It will be engineered to go 0 to 60 in 2 seconds! Sounds impossible but just you wait. And then I will design more Giron vehicles that are affordable, so every American can own one and be proud. "Proudly American for the Hard Working American". Nice huh? Yea...I like to day dream a lot but it will happen.
I want to be the John D. Rockefeller and Henry Ford of the future! That just happens to wear lipstick. You no what, throw in some Andrew Carnegie too. Yes these men were tycoons and icons and had some bad shit going on but I want to be like them in business and dropping out all the bad. It's not just for my country and mother lands but for human beings--so we can let go of all the petty things in life and to start digging into our hearts and minds to achieve something euphoric (I know weed and other things can do that but I'm talking about the long run here people!).
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS KID. Don't let anyone, not even family tell you your dreams are not attainable, no matter how old you are. I may be young but if I listened to my family...I would still live at home and have a boring life with no hope of impacting the universe. Stay up champs!
