C'est La Vie.
Hello hello! How are you my habibis? Mar7aba mar7aba! Kif ak? Hola hola mis amigos! Que tal? Bonjour! Ca Va?
I am fantastic! I hope you are all having a great new year. I am currently writing in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico! I have traveled alone here, like I always do, from California. I am enjoying the beautiful people and the scenery. The Caribbean sea holds a special place in my heart because it's so baby blue, so tender, as if it was filled with the innocence of the world. I cried when I saw the gorgeous water today, perhaps even more than when I saw the sea in the Dominican Republic in 2012.
I spent the day relaxing on the beach and touring downtown Cancun, away from the flashiness of the hotel zone. I even got lost on my way back from Playa Delphines because I missed my bus stop but some locals were kind enough and helped me find my way. Even though I am alone here, I don't feel alone because I have made new friends and I always see a smiling face. We are all brothers and sisters on Earth and perhaps if we spent less time on petty conflicts, we could focus on each other and on our beautiful earth. If we don't take care of our home, then nothing will matter in the end because we won't survive without a happy earth.
I am obviously on vacation and I finished up last semester strong. I will help the world not just for me, but for you too. Stay sane and humble my habibis. Please follow your dreams because God will see your efforts and help you. :) C'est la vie, la vie belle. Kull shay jamil! Todo es bonito!
